Often we remember the past with rose colored glasses. Our memory receptors soften the unpleasant events over time. Although this wonderful gift usually keeps us from extreme stress overload, it also hinders our ability to release the stressors and anxieties that lead to trauma.


There are many avenues and modalities available to release stress, anxiety and even our deepest traumas. Below are three quick and easy ways to begin our journey to healing and releasing…


1). Having daily positive thoughts such as, a 2:00 happy thought. If it puts a smile on your face or warms your heart, that is what you think about. Happy thoughts are a quick way to release stress!! So set your phone alert for 2:00 and have that happy thought.

2). Another stress reliever is to turn off the tv and put down the phone. Doing this just 30 minutes a day will lower your stress levels significantly.

3). Choose something or someone you are thankful for, and give gratitude. Gratitude is a wonderful way of releasing stress.
